Looking up at the sky when you’re standing inside a bamboo forest is unlike anything else. The bright green leaves at the top form a natural ceiling and filter the daylight that peeks through. The bamboo trunks themselves appear like pillars, standing tall and strong, emerging from all around. One of the most interesting things about this shot is that you can also see the trail below, as if reflected above, simply because there’s no shoots coming up from the line running through the middle of this shot.
